"I'll do my best to not make this too emotional. I thank Julie Larson, my judging coach and a best friend and to all the people at the farm, Willis, Carla & Kejo - thanks for letting me take time to do this. I thank my wife Sarah for letting me do this and for being a single parent while I've been judging. I also want to thank the staff at World Dairy Expo, and most of all, the breeders and exhibitors of the red and white cattle presented today. It's truly been an honor to judge this show. In naming the Grand Champion, I'm also naming the Best Udder of the Show and the Best Bred & Owned, our 125,000-lb. Cow. I'm following with the Res. Senior Champion for Res. Grand and the Intermediate Champion for Honorable Mention."
